MapleStory DS (Korean: 메이플스토리 DS) is a Nintendo DS game first released on April 15, 2010. It is only available in Korea and Japan. All but one of the Explorer classes from the PC version of MapleStory are playable in this game. This game is somewhat different from it's MMO counterpart, as the DS game is split into ten chapters, and only has four classes. It can be connected to the PC MapleStory to receive special NX items (Korean version only).

MapleStory DS was announced at E3 2006, and the first trailer was shown in early 2007. It was supposed to be released soon after, but the project was delayed several times, leading to it's eventual 2010 release.[1] The game was also bundled with a special edition Nintendo DSi, which was released on the same day as the game.
